Why is Men’s Business Suits considered as a dress for Success

Professional ethics shall be followed and respected in today’s corporate world. When Business Suits are worn, it give confidence to you as well as to the people around. It may sound trivial, but a banker should opt for something "bankerish" while a hotshot sales man should get a men’s business suit that reflects what he is selling.

It's just a fact of life that you are going to be judged for what you wear, both the baker and the salesman deal with other people's money, but one should project an air of reserve and tranquility while the other should reflect the quality of his products.

In early 1920’ suits marked by its tightly fitted jacket, high "pinched" waist and narrow shoulders, the conservative suit cut a thin silhouette - hardly the look of the American businessman as we've come to know him. In about 1924, the style of men’s suits shifted away from the thin cut and pinched waist look of what was then known as the "Jazz suit". Brooks Brothers and other fine men's clothing houses defined the look of the business suit that has been in style for nearly 80 years.

Back then, formal menswear was a tuxedo with all the elements, the jacket (with tails), vest, and pants all made from different types of materials.

From decades, we have seen people wearing Business Suits. In US the styles and designs of such suits have changed drastically over period of time. Our tailors definitely know more about what we need in a business suit than we do.

Every time you buy a men's business suit you should choose the suit that fits your best, over a suit that fits worse but is made out of a higher quality fabric. All good tailors follow strict International standards of acceptable patterns for a suit's fit, so if you are being pitched on a "new" type of suit find a "new" type of tailor. In fact many brands offered in market have tremendous variety to choose from. Try them out and pick the one that looks professional and at same time suits your pocket.

Be it business suits or wedding suits, buy a new suit based on your needs rather than your wants. While a shiny silver suit might be what you want to look "cool" around the office, a nice gray windowpane suit might be what you need to look respected".
